April 21st marks the 90th birthday of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, and in celebration, we're taking a look back at some of her most memorable fashion moments - from dripping in diamonds to countryside chic, the Queen is one fashionable monarch. Which look is your favourite?
1. When she overshadowed Angelina Jolie's two-piece.
It's not easy to look better than Angelina, but in a subtle peach number, the Queen managed to make the starlet's outfit look drab.

2. When she had an umbrella to match every outfit.
Rainy days have never been so stylish - we like to think the Queen has an umbrella in every colour of the rainbow.

3. When she rocked fur and diamonds simultaneously, without it looking too much.
Coco Chanel once said 'before leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory' - we think a fur-trimmed coat and lashings of sparkle is just the right amount for everyday luxe...

4. When she accessorised her hat with 3D glasses.
Only the Queen could look this good in these.

5. When her outfit was more on-trend than Kate Middleton’s.
Whilst Kate chose a safe, navy look, the Queen's turqouise double-breasted tweed jacket with matching hat stole the show.

6. And again.
Really, Kate - take note.

7. When she wore a watermelon-inspired ensemble and made it work.
Fuschia and lime green isn't the most subtle of colour combinations, but we're loving this floral-printed number - the white gloves and pearls scream luxury, too.

8. When she defiantly brought headscarves back into fashion.
Plain, silk, patterned - the Queen is often spotted in a headscarf. We're starting to want one...

9. When she embraced countryside glamour in a quilted gilet.
The Queen has obviously got the preppy-chic memo - this look is the very epitome of quintessentially British style.

10. When she clashed tartan prints and loved it.
'Clashing prints is very in, Philip.'

11. When she stole the show at The Royal Wedding in head-to-toe lemon.
In sunshine yellow, the Queen looked stunning at The Royal Wedding - Kate and William who?
