The Red LipThe red lip never really falls off the beauty radar - although 2015 saw a rise in the popularity of nudes, beiges and browns, leaving reds trailing in their wake. For Spring 2016, the red lip is back in full force. The specific hue of choice? Vibrant, candy-apple red; think Snow White, Jessica Rabbit, Elizabeth Taylor – this is no time for plums or burgundies.
Whether you plump for a lacquered pout seen at Nina Ricci’s catwalk show, or a beautifully matte look à la DKNY, keep the rest of your look minimal; sleek brows, soft highlighter and a touch of mascara make your red lips pop.

Who says blush pinks and soft peaches must be reserved for the lips? Forgo dark shadow shades and opt for ethereal, dreamy colours; the more shimmery, buttery and honeyed, the better. Altuzarra models rocked a satsuma shadow, whereas Erdem painted lids a muted, dusty rouge.
