Hood is too large without a helmet which is annoying because it flaps over your forehead impeding the view and there's no easy way to roll it up. Helmet would be a climbing, canoe or bicycling helmet and it will fit this well... but how often are you using this feature? So for me overall this was a mistake purchase although the lightness and waterproofness of this are excellent. On this note a longer jacket would be better still and it wouldn't get in the way of the harness either.
