The Samsung ES91 is designed to capture images that are true-to-life in colour and detail thanks to its 14.2 megapixel image sensor and 5x optical zoom. After taking the photo you can then get creative and add effects with the editing tools.
Take clearer and wider images with the 14.2 megapixel image sensor, the ES91 enables you to capture memories in vivid colour and sharp detail. With the 24.5mm wide-angle lens you can shoot group photos, perfect for when you want to fit all your friends or family in the frame. The 5x optical zoom means you can get detailed close-up images, even when you're far away from the subject.
Record stunning HD movies in 720p, complete with sound. This powerful camera has the ability to capture 720p HD quality videos at 30 frames per second in MJPEG format. Much clearer than the average digital camera video, you'll really notice the difference in quality.
On the back of the camera there's a 2.7" Intelligent LCD that provides improved contrast and colour reproduction for a wider and clearer image. The Intelligent LCD brightness will automatically detect environmental illumination and automatically adjust the brightness, so you have the best view of your images.
Smart Auto automatically adjusts the camera settings to get you the best picture every time. Scene detection will identify up to 15 different shooting conditions and instantly analyse the key composition elements, then the ES91 will automatically adjust to give you the optimum settings for every photo situation.
Object Tracking AF allows you to accomplish beautiful composition with a simple selection of any object on the camera display. Object tracking AF technology tracks both the object and focus automatically, so you just need to press the shutter button to capture the moment perfectly.
USB charging enables you to charge the ES91 anywhere, even when there's no available power outlet. Just plug it into any device with a USB port e.g. USB port or car stereo and start charging. - A.D.

new camera
I needed a replacement camera with a higher resolution than my poor old Pentax, and this Samsung ES91 Compact Digital Camera (14MP, 5x Optical, 2.7 Inch LCD) is tiny compared with that one. It's given great results so far. I'm still getting the hang of it, but hope to use some of the pictures for a new album shortly.
